Small Work, Big Impact

One thing I’m excited about in 2021 is releasing more “Small Works.” I had so much fun creating small, meaningful pieces for the Holiday Shop that I decided it needs to be a regular thing this year!

Small paintings on paper and panel are the perfect little details to make a big impact in a room. And let’s face it, we are spending a lot more time in our homes, so why not adorn them with beautiful artwork?

“I’d say that 2021 will be a year of attributing meaning to carefully selected pieces—the year of the craftsperson, the artist, the artisan.”

— Robert McKinley, Studio McKinley, Vogue

According to Vogue, one of this year’s design trends is mixing old and new, which Elizabeth O’Connell does beautifully with her interior decorating. I love how she paired “Finding Peace” and “Heavenly Glow” in this bedroom.

“That frame is over 100 years old. It’s so fun having new pieces in a vintage frame.”

— Elizabeth O’Connell

So have fun incorporating your favorite decor items with a few new and impactful pieces this year!

What spaces do you find yourself living in most these days? How have you reworked your home to make it more comfortable and meaningful?
