It was such a treat seeing this commissioned painting in its new home recently! I worked with homeowners Jamie and Phillip Lanzi on this special piece that celebrates nature, showcasing Howe Creek.

I met with the Lanzis during the summer, while they were in the middle of building their dream home. We walked through the construction to see where the painting would go, and get a feel for the space.

After looking at where the painting would go, Jamie showed me the view of the creek. Y’all, it is stunning! We agreed a painting of their view would be the perfect way to greet guests in the foyer.

I waited on the perfect evening to snap some photos of their view for references. Then I got to work painting this 48x48 in. beauty!
