I’m Sarah Jane, a graphic designer turned artist who fell in love with painting coastal landscapes; and in an unexpected twist of fate, moved to the sweet, little seaside town of Wilmington, NC. Where I was able to take my dream of being a full-time artist and make it a reality!

My five-year-old self would be ecstatic to know that I spend my days painting in a sunshine-filled art studio with my snuggly golden retriever. Some days I take my easel outside to paint in the marsh with the wind in my hair and sand in my toes. I love bringing home tiny treasures from my outdoor adventures and infusing these elements into my art practice. When you step inside my studio you’ll spot seashells, books galore, and of course lots of art projects on the go!

I like to think of my artwork as colorful explorations, a bit impressionistic with a touch of whimsy! From coastal inspiration in my very own backyard to traveling the globe, I’m exploring as much of God’s creation as possible and painting its wonder.

My hope is to spread a bit of love and kindness in this life, while creating something beautiful and meaningful for your walls!

Live painting at Magnolia’s Spring at the Silos in Waco, TX. Photo by Summer Lambert.

I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with incredible interior designers over the years to create artwork for stunning spaces; live paint at lovely events, such as Magnolia’s Spring at the Silos; and work with the sweetest galleries and retailers, like Serena & Lily. I’ve even spotted my artwork on TV on the set of Amazon's The Summer I Turned Pretty. Still, by-far the most exciting thing is seeing my paintings on your walls, and hearing how art transforms your space!

Your paintings are my favorite part of our home and bring me SO much happiness and calmness everyday.
