If you’re in the Durham area, take a stroll through Preston Woods on Saturday, Nov. 14, for a family fun art walk featuring artwork from five local artists!

From glasswork to woodwork, and weavings to paintings, the art walk has something for everyone! See information about the artists and where they'll be set up below, so you can map out your art walk!

The Artists:

Caroline Banka creates fanciful glass flowers. They are meant to catch the sunlight and add a note of whimsy to the yard.

Marc Banka is a self taught woodturner living in Durham. With saws and a lathe, he turns logs into graceful forms — bowls, plates, platters and vases.

Sydney Sogol is a handweaver creating exquisite luxury wearable art. Each piece is created to pay tribute to a single creature's unique beauty and story.

Sarah Jane Tart creates paintings exploring God's peace and beauty in nature. Her current work explores the coastal marshes of North Carolina!
