Watercolor Workshop

For those of you who have been asking for a watercolor class, you’re in luck! I’m teaching a floral watercolor workshop at Cultivate Coffee Roasters, and this event is going to be extra special because it’s benefiting the Snead family adoption fund!

when Victoria Snead reached out about hosting a workshop as an adoption fundraiser my heart just melted!

I asked Victoria if adopting was something she always knew she’d do, or if it was something she recently felt called to do. She explained that she was adopted and she had always known she wanted to do the same someday for someone else!

Y’all, I totally teared up. That’s about the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard, and if painting can help give a child a loving home then let’s do it!

The workshop will cover the basics of watercolors, and I’ll instruct you on how to paint your very own floral painting!

Tickets are $50 per person and include watercolor paper and brushes, a paint palette with select colors and a Sarah Jane Tart watercolor instruction guide.

You’ll also be able to purchase drinks from our incredible host, Cultivate Coffee Roasters, at the event. There will be tasty treats, and we’ll also have some other fun opportunities for you to give to the Snead family adoption fund!

I cannot think of a sweeter way to spend my evening! So grab a couple of friends and join us!

Update: in light of COVID-19 we postponed the watercolor workshop (originally scheduled for March 23) to help best follow guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.

The workshop has been rescheduled for Monday, Aug. 3, from 6–8 p.m., and we will be taking extra health and safety precautions to make this event safe for all in attendance.
