Wilmington Food Guide

Planning a beach trip? Here are my favorite Wilmington (and Wrightsville Beach) restaurants!

Drift Café at Wrightsville Beach

  • Kipos Hellenic Cuisine — This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Wilmington. The food is delicious and fresh, the atmosphere is gorgeous, and the service is always impeccable!

  • Boombalatti's — Going out for homemade ice cream is my favorite kind of date night!

  • The Original Salt Works — For an old-fashioned burger, try Salt Works. It’s also a great lunch spot if you want to eat outside under the Live Oaks.

  • Poe’s Tavern — We often grab supper at Poe’s after a day at the beach!

  • Waterman’s Brewing — The Flat Rock Cider with the Waterman’s Wedge Salad or the Sol Fuego Shrimp are my go-tos.

  • Brasserie Du Soleil — If we have something to celebrate this is always my first choice.

  • Ceviche’s — This Panamanian restaurant has a great atmosphere and a killer margarita!

  • Origins — The space is beautiful, and it’s a great option if you’re looking for something a little nicer. The bar area has a great seating area, too, so I love to go for drinks and desserts!

  • Driff Coffee — They rotate seasonal drinks, so there’s always something new to try. Plus they have healthy breakfast and lunch options.

  • Casa Blanca — One of my favorite local coffee spots.

  • Zeke’s Beans and Bowls — They have the best acai bowls! I like to stop here for breakfast when we walk the Wrightsville Beach Loop in the mornings.
