Coming Soon: The Carolina Coast Collection

The Carolina Coast collection will be available to shop online on Thursday, March 20, at 10 a.m. EST, as well as in-person on Friday, March 21, from 5–9 p.m. — click here for event details.

I started prepping canvases and adding the first coats of paint at the end of 2024. Spread out on my garage floor, I dripped and poured bright swashes of color.

The first painting I finished was bold and vibrant. The second soft and serene. Then in January, I schlepped several canvases across the ferry to Bald Head Island (BHI) to continue working on at my artist residency.

As I settled into a new rhythm at BHI — exploring, watching the sun rise and set, and learning from my fellow artists — my work began to shift, something new clicking seamlessly into place.

Inspired by the island and my peers, my art practice has grown leaps and bounds. Quiet moments by the water, both calmed me and fueled me.

Back in the studio, my direction has felt clearer than ever as I’ve continued working on this collection. The Carolina Coast is home. It’s calm, and wild, and free. It’s a beautiful ecosystem, whose beauty I am honored to share in this new body of work.

Each painting in the collection is acrylic on a stretched linen canvas with sizes including 24x36, 30x30 and 36x48 in.

  • The 24x36 and 30x30 in. canvases will include a custom float frame. You’ll get to choose between a natural wood or painted gold finish. Framing takes about three weeks.

  • Framing will be optional for the 36x48 in. canvases. So you can stick with a wrapped canvas look, where the painting continues around the edges. Or add a float frame for a more tailored style.

I’m putting together a special collection preview for email subscribers, so you can measure your walls and pick out your favorites before the release!
