New Work, Coming in 2023

Now that I’m painting full-time, I’m settling into a new rhythm in the studio. It’s certainly an adjustment, as I figure out how to best structure my days, but some advice from my friend and fellow artist Christy M. King has been so helpful!

Christy suggested always fitting in a bit of painting in every workday. It sounds simple enough, but there are so many business tasks that have to get done during the day, too. For instance, you can have a very productive day packaging and shipping artwork, but it will inevitably feel like a bad day if you didn’t paint.

So most mornings you’ll find me painting! I have three large commissions that I’m working on right now, they’re my top priority, and I’ve started on my first two collections for the year. Here’s a look at what’s coming up!

Travel Series: Paris

I took so many photos on our trip to Paris, so when we got back I couldn’t help but paint some of my favorite moments!

I’m hoping to have a little travel collection on paper ready to release in February. Email subscribers will be getting early access, so stay tuned!

Spring Marsh Collection

Winter always has me craving color and chasing sunsets. So medium to large-sized sunsets on birchwood panels are in the works for a spring release!
