When Emilyann asked if I would paint a scene of Federal Road on Bald Head Island for her mother as a wedding gift, I was honored!

Her mother has a couple of my pieces in their BHI home, so I made sure the colors of this special addition fit in with the rest of her collection!

A commission of a place so dear to their hearts was the sweetest gift to paint! Emilyann got engaged at BHI and it’s where they had their wedding.

This kind family has been so supportive and encouraging over the years, I’m so thankful for their friendship and was delighted to play a tiny part in this beautiful wedding!
